Lantern hike happens Feb. 3 at Norway Ridge

ALPENA — The Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Thunder Bay Trails Association will host a lantern-lit hike, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing event from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 3 at Norway Ridge Pathway on Werth Road south of Alpena.
The event will feature a fire pit, hot chocolate, and s’mores.
Parking will be available in the Norway Ridge lot and along Werth Road.
The Trails Association suggests snowshoes, skis, headlamps, and warm clothes for the event.
