Erling Haaland has NOT suffered a major injury, insists Norway’s physio after the Man City star limped out of training while on international duty…just 12 days before their huge Premier League clash against Arsenal

Erling Haaland gave Manchester City an injury scare before Norway played down fears of a major problem with the striker.

The 23-year-old limped out of a training session ahead of friendlies against Czech Republic and Slovakia, sparking fears an existing issue had flared up.

But Norway’s physios later confirmed that Haaland hasn’t suffered a big knock, which will come as a relief to City ahead of a tantalising run-in to this season.

Haaland is one goal away from breaking 30 for the campaign in his second year at the Etihad Stadium and still believes he is to hit top form as City eye another three trophies.

Pep Guardiola had questioned the wisdom of this international break full of exhibition matches and claimed that he faced a nervous wait to ‘see which players survive’.

Ederson is doubtful for that game with a thigh injury, while Jack Grealish is going through a personalised programme over the next week to prove his fitness.

Grealish was an unused substitute for last weekend’s FA Cup quarter-final victory over Newcastle United after a recurrence of a groin strain at Luton earlier in the month.
