Sons of Norway meeting to feature Cottonwood-Jackson CEO program

WINDOM — The Sons of Norway Stavanger Lodge 1-538 will host its next meeting at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 17, at the Cottonwood County Historical Society, 812 Fourth Ave., Windom.

Ashley Johnson, facilitator for the Cottonwood and Jackson CEO high school program, is the guest speaker.

“My passion for the CEO program started when I heard about the mission,” Johnson said. “I love working with youth and helping them find their passions. I have often preached to others, ‘Figure out what you love and find a way to get paid for it.’ I am looking forward to using my knowledge and connections to build relationships and learning for the students of the Cottonwood/Jackson CEO program.”

Johnson will talk about this exciting opportunity for high school students to delve into the world of business and potential life pathways, provide insights into the activities of the students, and explain the role of mentors from the communities of Windom and Jackson.
