Lansdale’s 72nd Annual Mardi Gras Parade

Lansdale held its 72nd annual Mardi Gras Parade
on Saturday afternoon, with more than 100 entries providing sights and sounds
for the more than 1,000 area residents who lined Main Street to celebrate the
beginning of the holiday season.

The year’s theme was “Holiday Melodies,” leading to multiple
floats and displays that focused on seasonal music. The parade also featured
appearances from Optimus Prime and Bumblebee from the Transformers movie
series, as well as the North Penn Marching Knights, area first responders, and
local businesses and organizations.
