Brighton twice took the lead against Leeds on Saturday and twice surrendered it as the game ended 2-2. World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister headed the Seagulls in front on 33 minutes but Patrick Bamford leveled through a deflected strike five minutes before halftime. Solly March restored Brighton’s lead after 61 minutes only for Jack Harrison to return the game to parity in the 78th minute. Substitute Danny Welbeck should have grabbed all three points for Brighton late on, but with only the keeper to beat, he sent the ball flying over the bar. Roberto De Zerbi’s team has now registered their highest Premier League goals tally, with 45, and Brighton seems to be progressing well under Graham Potter’s replacement.

Crystal Palace has now gone four games without registering a shot on target following their 0-1 defeat to Man City on Saturday. Despite making life tough for Pep Guardiola’s men with some rugged defending, Palace rarely threatened going forward and in the end, City got the win they deserved. Patrick Viera’s misfiring side now sits only four points above the relegation zone, and they face a difficult trip to Arsenal after the game against Brighton.
Prediction
Brighton is turning into one of the most entertaining sides in the Premier League this season. Crystal Palace can’t find the target let alone the back of the net. The home team should win this one by a comfortable margin.
